Weekend Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technician

We are looking for weekend coverage with the option to work weekdays as well. Both full and part-time positions are available. Full time weekend positions include a four-day work week.

As an AM Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the success of our day-to-day production, including:

  • Machine operation (preparation, monitoring, and recovery of materials, supplies, and printed parts)
  • Cleaning, removal of support structures, and post-processing of printed parts
  • Perform detailed inspection of all printed parts, assuring accurate tolerances to project data.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of printing equipment.
  • Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and safety in the workplace
  • Raw materials management
  • Other duties as assigned.



To be considered for our AM Technician position, you’ll need the following:

Skills – Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet challenging deadlines with minimal supervision. Applicants must have superior attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Availability – The ability to primarily work weekends, and as scheduling allows, additional weekdays as workload demands.

Physical Fitness – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will be exposed to various chemicals, fumes and noise. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Education – A High School Diploma is required; Associates Degree in Prototyping and Design, Model Making or similar program would be great, but not necessary - we're willing to provide training

Helpful Experience – Any previous experience with silicone molding, 3D printing, CAD software, reading and interpreting technical drawings, is preferred, but not necessary. Ideal candidates will have some previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
