Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Midwest Prototyping has a great opportunity available. This is a direct hire for a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position. In addition, this position is also responsible for cleaning and finishing parts when the shipping work is caught up.

Midwest Prototyping, LLC a specialist in additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping and low volume production is seeking an individual to do Shipping and Receiving at their Blue Mounds facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily packing and shipping of all orders to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Final visual inspector during packing and communicating any quality concerns.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the shipping room.
  • Organizing of shipping room and shipping supplies.
  • Looking over work orders to verify shipments/receiving.
  • Cleaning and sanding parts.

Essential Requirements include:

  • High attention to detail is critical and the ability to do fine detail work with your hands is important.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Drive and willingness to understand directions and learn quickly.
  • Ability to be flexible and deal with changing priorities.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Ability to stand while working, this is not a sit down job.
  • Computer literacy is required including the ability to work in Microsoft Office.
  • We are willing to train, no experience is required.
